Map Description:

In an attempt to resurrect this fort after a rapid, untimely death, I played a year and am taking over the thread. This is after my year of play.

Is that the actual tileset or is it a graphic error?

Took me a moment to realize there's a dwarf face in that large surface structure. The gray blended too well with the brown for my eyes.

Δ Depot
Here is our trade depot. The ramps to the west create a path to the surface. The room northwest from the depot was going to be the well room before an unfortunate miscalculation required the well hole to be blocked. - Bluerobin427
Δ Farms
Here are the farms that I set up with a stockpile for seeds down the middle. We don't have much demand for food or drink yet, so they're not very active. - Bluerobin427
Δ Old Fort
These rooms were carved out when I arrived. The entrance hall was far too long for my taste, so I abandoned this area and used the bedrooms as burial rooms. - Bluerobin427
Δ Bedrooms
Here are the first bedrooms set up. There's a lot of room down the hall for more rooms to be added, and they should be far enough from shops to dampen the noise. - Bluerobin427
Δ Dining Room
Here is the saving grace of our first year. After the deaths of two of our own, we needed motivation to continue on. The designing, construction, and smoothing of this dining room helped raise our spirits and it will be a sight to see once it's engraved and cleared of loose stone. - Bluerobin427
Δ Workshop Space
This is where the main workshop space is. On this floor is the stone craft shops, mason's shop, and carpenter's shop. Across (north) from the craftdwarf shops is a finished goods stockpile. Across (west) from the mason's and carpenter's shops is a food stockpile with space for food related shops next to it. Down one floor is a refuse stockpile and a bone carver's shop. - Bluerobin427
