Yeah 2 levels might be overkill, a single z-level should provide you with all your construction needs for a while :)

Water isn't a ready source on your map, so you should try and save the water in the ponds and not use them as moats, instead pump up magma if you really want a moat, plus it'll be cooler ;)

I hate it and love it at the same time.
...
Random stockpiles, moats for no reason, holes strewn across the place, workshops on the roofs, if you can call anything there a building, and there's even a goddamn windmill not connected to anything, just sitting on the ground.

Most confusing SG so far?
Or is it just me?

I love the waterworks :o
Pumping water from one tile of aquifer leading it to another is highly efficient, way more efficient than my line-of-pumps-with attached wheels :(

Also carp catcher++ but if the aquifer isnt enough, and you want to pump it, how do you reach the stairs without drowning?? >.<

Noo you cleared out EVERTHING in my laggtrap :(
Hmm... actually, wouldnt that make a sweet arena?
For some epic battles anyways :D

The skyway was meant to provide a way to the tower during sieges, the ground it's connected to was supposed to be fenced in and connected to the fort underground.
