E1-- Quantum Storage Facility (Food/Seeds)
To the left is the food gathering QS-Facility and to the right is the seed collection pod with similar purpose; mostly to keep planting as equidistant as possible.
It helps out greatly for collection and planting in all the nearby farmlands established so far.
And before I forget, the farmlands are setup in a way that makes it easy to keep crops varied and rotating to keep a fresh soil when the next planting season rolls around. I like it for it's efficiency and productivity.
Got more than enough food to keep everyone fat, drunk, and happy. Eventually, I'll breach the aboveground for a few pods, and dedicate some to surface-type crops; as long as it won't compromise my tree and bush growth. Hopefully, I'll find a way to work around this to keep it aesthetically pleasing, especially later-game. maybe establish it along the Eastern Edge of the map and use the walls to protect the farms as a way of manipulating traffic/invaders, while still keeping the farmers feeling safe to do their job. Just in case, I'll maybe add in drawbridges as protection caps to prevent flying invaders from terrorizing everyone. -
