View / Reply Submitted by: Lightning4 - 2008-01-03 Well, I think it's somewhat effective since the goblins will only be coming from one of those four directions. Marksdwarves in the tower will be picketing them with fire by the time they hit the top of the ramps, and by the time they reach the bottom they should have quite a few missing of their ranks.

View / Reply Submitted by: Lightning4 - 2007-09-15 Thanks for the comments, and yeah, it was a pretty brutal time. Long in the past now, the fortress has well recovered and is in a pretty stable time. I need to post it soon, it's 1071 now and much progress has been made.
