Looks like your dwarves have already breached hell, and come off none the worse for the wear. Dang.

Asmel actually got a happy ending - he married one of his friend's daughters and had three children with her before dying of old age.

At this point(year 15, about 12 years after the fort started), the vault population is already into its 4th or 5th generation. The dwarves of the first 2 generations have all died out.

So does the Goblin Run work? Any chance you could upload a video of it in action?

This fortress is amazing.

Have you had any dwarves die of old age so far? Considering that your average dwarf lives for four hundred years, a few of yours may be old enough to die from natural causes within a fifty-year span.

Also, any idea how goblins managed to kill half the entire fortress population without harming your champions?

I like the idea of a quaint little village by a river filled with vicious man-eating fish.

Nice looking fort. I see you dammed the rivers using magma. Clever, never would have thought of that myself.

Also, do you have the seed used to generate that world? It looks interesting.

You have an underground lake or river, right? Tower caps will not grow even on muddied ground until an underground lake or river has been discovered.

Where does the water for the sprinklers come from anyway?

The tileset is a heavily modified version of Tyrving's tileset, with smoothed walls based on those from Tahin's.

Why not just widen the lake?

Before filling the lake with water, you might want to remove all the stones left there. The lake bed will look unsightly otherwise.

As for the limestone shortage, the island to the north-west looks rather... out of place, doesn't it? Oh, yes...

Hmm, I wonder which of the tombs belongs to the tax collector...
