Beautiful. You would suspect that at some point the pile of bodies is high enough for the last goblins to just use it as a slide and run to their freedom.

Your floodgates and towers aren't located in the same position relative to the cisterns. I'm guessing that both fill at the same speed when everything is lined up correctly.
Would be interesting to see if this experiment is repeated with bigger extremes, thinking a 20 z level high tower against a 2 z level high one.

I remember it being stated by some players that when using a U bend like that the water level will always end up being one z-level lower then the source. Using fortifications shouldn't have an effect.

Nah, a brown wound means "moderately wounded", i call it "heavily bruised" or battered, which is what the game calls it in adventure mode i think. (yellow is broken, which is what shattered would be i guess) Still, very funny though, its as if the game's telling you to mind your own business.

This is so awesome. Great job, i'm sure this "timing" mechanism based on the mist generator will be implemented in all sorts of fun designs, and generate all sorts of new ideas. Dropping food and booze into noble chambers once in a while for example. XD
I wonder how much we could slow down the final screw pump to trigger the pressure plate, could one be made to only trigger once every day (RL day), or maybe every week if you keep the game running? Maybe even much longer.

You could maybe also link this up to sort of fountains, squirting water in pretty patterns.
It would require a much bigger "mist" room though, to give the pressure plates enough time between activates.
Btw, this is the first time i actually experimented with pressure plates, i'm not sure if for example quality has an impact.

That is impressive.
Maybe you could've pumped out water from some of the ponds and stop the fire devouring the encampment that way.
