Not long ago we were travelling merchants, a small family group of just seven, including the guard. We were travelling through the white desert when our cart broke down and our animals became sick.
The area we were stuck in had little in the way of trees, but it's a popular trade route, and we knew the sandy soil and small oasis to the south would be rich enough to sustain us until either help arrived or our animals recovered, whichever may occur first.
Scouting the area, we found a ramp into a large, and we assumed at the time, natural cavern, here we placed our farms and started moving our goods inside, it was warm and dry, although the stark whiteness of the sand hurt the eyes slightly. Ustuth starts gathering fish while Inod lays out a small allotment, and for several days all is routine.
Eventually, all the goods that may spoil out in the damaged cart have been bought in, and we're just starting to relax, when a shout from one of the miners alerts us. An unexplored alcove in the sandy wall, assumed to be merely a dead end, leads downwards, to a massive stairwell, seven dwarves square and rich in rock and ore and gems, dug for an unknown reason and ending in solid rock, the gems and ore displaced during it's founding lying untouched.
It is fate. This was placed here for us to find and we shall name it Tonguecrafted, and around it we shall build our home.
Might wanna put a fence around the death-pit in the center though, don't want the children falling down it.

Unassuming, the entrance hardly noticeable, the refuse pile filled with shell and vermin. - KoChanneo
