• Δ 175. Military Complex: Galleystand Hall
  This is Galleystand hall, the previously unnamed building a part of my military complex. It got its name for my militia commander, mighty hammer-dwarf and wielder of the legendary silver hammer Saintpriest. He has never been touched, he never falters, he is the beacon of hope for the whole of Granitegroove.
  
  Now this building has some unique geometry, and thats because i wanted to make something different. the main barracks, reserved for the second squad, is paved in marble, kaolinite, and phyllite and has a masterful steel door and platinum bar staircase.
  
  The building overall is made of phyllite blocks with some exceptions. the mess hall, above the barracks level, has lead tables and chairs, very plain and soldierly. the floor is phyylite and silver bars, and the roof is green glass with a copper bar and silver bar at the end of each skylight. the dining hall also has a flashing gem window above the exit. - trippin
• Δ 174. Military Complex NE Tower
  The first enclosed barracks for my dwarves, this tower is 4 z levels high, is built almost entirely of siltstone and has many functions.
  
  The second floor, 2z above the barracks floor, is the Military Larder. one floor above that, is the armory, located on the roof.
  
  From the military Larder there is a balcony that connects to a walkway between the buildings of the military complex. - trippin
• Δ 174. Food Processing room
  Here is where crops are grown, alcohol is brewed, and sweet pods are milled into barrels full of dwarven sugar. Animals are butchered, fat is rendered, and soap is made here as well. theres also a small exploratory above ground farm in the entrance courtyard. - trippin

  Where my steel is smelted and my weapons are forged. - trippin

  Here the fallen of Granitegroove lay at eternal rest, in a simple dug out burial mound. i need to expand it as i have several dead from the last siege. - trippin
• Δ 172. Entrance courtyard
  Here we have the entrance courtyard. I plan to have almost all of it paved in the near future, with a new structure on the left side if possible.
  As you can see, i run an open fort with limited use of traps.
  
  Here you can also see the remains of the temporary wooden palisade which originally protected the fort. The walls aren't complete just yet, but they offer some protection, at least.

  A simple cluster of apartments that i like to make. at the bottom is a dining room and larder - trippin

  This is my attempt at making a under-city of interconnected apartments going up and generally clinging to the walls.
  
  All it is now is a giant empty chamber,complete with stalactites and a hanging platform for the stonemasons to use. - trippin
