The second year of Laborshore. Work still continues on the massive entrance ramp, but more basic industries have been set up outdoors.

Δ 118. Farming Terrace
Some open air farms were dug out this year, which grow strawberries, longland grass, and prickle berries. They'll eventually be covered off and connected to the underground, when there is an underground to connect to. - grimmr
Δ 117. Outpost Liason
While wandering near some masons that were replacing the ice floor tiles with limestone blocks, the outpost liason suffered an unfortunate accident. He was the first casualty of the fortress, and a bad omen for relationships with the original mountainhome. - grimmr
Δ 115. Barracks

( 101 Late Winter to onwards )
Barracks function as both training and watchtowers for anything descending into the fortress. They're raised above the walkway, so the militia can detect ambushes through the windows, then rush down to the lower levels to defend, as dwarves in the barracks can reach the fortress hub faster than a creature on the main entrance path. - grimmr
Δ 111. Travel Hub
The area being channeled out here will serve as a connector for various sections of the fortress. - grimmr
