I'm looking at the surface and...did you never deconstruct the wagon?

This is where the Giant Eagles are bred. The bridges on all sides flip upwards to protect them during ambushes and sieges. - Broletarian

These are the eponymous feature of the fortress. They are made from iron blocks and tower cap, and power the magma pumps down below - Broletarian
