• ¶ 54. Entry
  The design for the entry into the fortress was a fairly simple affair. A long row of bridges hooked to a lever can be activated to smash invaders.
  
  Two tile wide bridges raise to the south, one tile wide raise to the north. This maintains enemy AI pathing, meaning they will charge down the corridor and get smashed. Two chained piglets at the end of this prevent thieves from sneaking inside. - Jimmy

• Δ 52. Burrow 1: Farms
  These are the twelve farms that feed the entire fortress.
  The three northern farms produce quarry bushes from Spring through Autumn.
  The other nine farms produce sweet pods in Spring, cave wheat in Summer and pig tails in Autumn.
  All farms are fallow in Winter.
  The central stockpile stores all food except drinks, plants and prepared meals. This area also doubles as an animal pasture. - Jimmy
• Δ 50. Burrow 2: Trade Depot
  Surrounding the trade depot are several kitchens and farmer's workshops. These convert imported food into roasts which are either used to feed the fortress or traded back for various other supplies.
  This is one of the earliest burrows in the fortress, and the clutter surrounding the depot shows it was fitted before mass cleaning began. - Jimmy
• Δ 48. Burrow 3: Crafting
  Located close to the trade depot for transporting supplies, the central stockpile stores cloth, leather and finished goods. Three craftdwarf's workshops convert these and other miscellaneous items into trade goods.
  The clothier's workshops are currently in the process of producing robes, trousers and shoes for the fortress populations. As this is a recent effort, abandoned clothing can be seen littering the fortress.
  Four wood furnaces convert imported logs into charcoal at this location due to the proximity to the depot. - Jimmy
• Δ 46. Burrow 4: Refuse
  This is a little used burrow. The refuse stockpile doubles as a temporary tower-cap stockpile for conversion into beds. Quantum stone dumps can be observed around the edge of the stockpile. - Jimmy
• Δ 44. Burrow 5: Residential
  This burrow is a heavily populated area with several important features.
  The two levers at the burrow entry control the bridge defense system. The north lever will isolate the fortress from the majority of the map. The south can be set to repeat to smash invaders.
  The central stockpile originally stored diorite stone to feed the masons, however after a few years on repeat all needed furniture was created, and this stockpile is now used to hold charcoal, dolomite and limonite for steel production.
  Finally, the first eight bedrooms are located in the east of this burrow. Ramps lead up and down for access. A temporary dormitory is visible between the two rooms currently housing the Count's rooms. - Jimmy
• Δ 42. Burrow 6: Booze
  This burrow contains a central stockpile holding the majority of the alcohol in the fortress. Should this ever run dry, swift defeat would follow. - Jimmy
• Δ 40. Burrow 7: Processing
  All farmed plants are sent to this burrow deep in the lower fortress. Farmer's workshops convert quarry bushes into bags of leaves ready for cooking, and process pig tails into thread. The looms convert this thread into cloth and return it to Burrow 3 for further processing. Three stills brew rum and beer constantly.
  The central stockpile only accepts plants, thread and empty bags. The workshops all feed from this stockpile to minimize travel distance for workers. - Jimmy
• Δ 38. Burrow 8: Barrels
  This burrow is only used to store empty barrels for the nearby stills. - Jimmy
• Δ 36. Burrow 9: Roasts
  When the population grew to near 200, increased food demand necessitated increased food storage. This stockpile, while a fair distance from the rest of the fortress, allows storage of excess prepared food until it's needed. The area was recently excavated and hasn't been cleaned of debris yet. - Jimmy
