The 21st year of Watchdiamonds. Deaths (mostly due to old age) are mostly balanced by the first generation of dwarfs born in the fortress. Many of the general fortress areas are now complete and just need to be excevated. The next large project is the casting of the 15x23x18 obsidian tower which will hold the noble quarters and the accumulator towers to power the waterwheels when the river is frozen.

It's now 21 years old (started in year 200). Thanks, I can't remember where I came across the use of bridges to protect Marksdwarves, but given the amount of damage a couple of elite missile goblins can do it's proven very useful in the past!
