Map Description:

After the moronic demise of the previous incarnation of Grimskewers, I decided to remake the fort into something more DFMA-worthy. At the end of the first year, the fort is only one room, but what a splendid room it is; truly worthy of a year of eating from the wagon and sleeping on rocks to see it done.

That's amazing. I can't wait to see what you do with the chasm. Looks like you have this thought out years in advance.

The insignia of my dwarven parent civilization, (Afenestilkadol, The Skinny Whirling Hatchets) realized in a smooth block mosaic island in our front hall. Like all good dwarven engineering, it has a defensive use as well, with the bridges being retractable for safety. The blocks were brought from embark to ensure that the colors would be available and in a timely fashion. The discreet stairways lead down to a storage room below the mosaic. - Chayfox
