Grimskewers - 1055 Early Spring by Chayfox

Map Description:

With some of the stone moved out of the fortress, I've had time to finish my drainage system, and get some crafting set up for trades. There is enough food and booze to last the small population many years now, and the outside world isn't so scary with the new cage traps and drawbridge.

That's amazing. I can't wait to see what you do with the chasm. Looks like you have this thought out years in advance.

15. The Great Seal

The insignia of my dwarven parent civilization, (Afenestilkadol, The Skinny Whirling Hatchets) realized in a smooth block mosaic island in our front hall. Like all good dwarven engineering, it has a defensive use as well, with the bridges being retractable for safety. The blocks were brought from embark to ensure that the colors would be available and in a timely fashion. The discreet stairways lead down to a storage room below the mosaic. - Chayfox
