Breachshot has grown to be an industrious Dwarven outpost with a population of 86. Magma-powered forges are pumping out iron armor and trinkets, glass production is at an all-time high, and the newly constructed Eastside Highway has been opened for convenient trader access. Yes, Breachshot is a fortress on the move!
The Giant Bat situation has improved remarkably, down to less then three deaths per year attributed to giant bat attack. The Captain of the Guard is pleased to report that the gorilla menace has been all but eliminated.
Catapults, Ballistas, Cage Traps, cast-iron doors, and a drawbridge guard the grand dwarven entrance.
Tales untold of Breachshot's early years greet visitors and point the way to the fortress gift shop and cafeteria. - Katt

I don't think you should be so fussy about shifting stone out of your fortress, also look at the infinite stockpiles and dumping needless stones, it might speed things up for you.

Now that I have a magma garbage dump, large refuse piles are a thing of the past.
