The main entrance is surrounded by The Device. About ninety-three drawbridges surround the entire fort, ready to smash and hurl anyone that dares approach.

Unfortunately, The Device has not scored well in the safety department. We've lost quite a few dwarves... and merchants... and camels, for that matter. - RogerN

Δ 14. Mason Sweatshop
Two legendary masons churned out more than 2500 rock blocks from this pair of workshops. All of the bridges used in The Device were made entirely from chalk blocks.

This is The Lever, which operates all 90-something bridges simultaneously. All dwarves should be ordered inside before pulling this sucker. Or you could order them all outside, if that's how you get your kicks.
