The humans lost a diplomat to yet another goblin siege a year ago, and in anticipation of the resulting war I began fortifying the hill entrance to the fortress. I have reached the end of my patience just waiting out sieges and now with my shiny new towers, walls, and murder holes I'm going to start seriously bringing the pain.
Despite only finding copper on the map so far my smiths have been toiling away on making enough armor and weaponry to arm the majority of the civilians, just in case the sieges intensify. We're going down fighting if we are going down at all.
At this point I consider the fortress more or less complete. Now to see how it ends...
