The Magical Mechanical Demon - 302 Early Spring by Zephyru

Map Description:

A year later progress is well under way.

The tower is now raising up above the ground, and troubles are minimal.

Or, more accurately: We've only lost two dwarves. Stupid Fire-Imps...

Point of Interest: The Courtyard of Contentedness and the Base Level

The courtyard which holds our temporary graveyard, wood stocks, and Trade Depot.

It also holds the base of the tower.

On the perimeter of the courtyard are three bridges (and a fourth that is blinking in construction) over the moat, which will one day be filled with water. - Zephyru

This is going to be a tower.

Fear it.

This map is quite flat. And that pond near the magma looks like a dog.

If your river freezes in winter, be very careful that your pumps don't freeze as well. That's a pain to fix.

Oooops! Was this a reclaim, it's veyr messy at the moment. I look forward to seeing you clean it up.

Meh, I think if the game didn't strew everything about everywhere, I might actually reclaim some things, but I hate having to spend the first few game years moving everything to their proper places, just so I can look at the screen without gagging.

So I moved on to a new fort.

Which I forgot to post on here.

(I'll post it next year...)
