Whitesands - 206 Late Winter by P-Luke

Map Description:

This is my egyptian styled piramid map.
All I need now is a "master" piramid for the pharao, and add a crocodile pit ;)

A BBCode picture

Point of Interest: Guards piramid

This is where the archers are stationed (although they are usually in the actual guards tower, a few tiles higher). - P-Luke

The colors and the unique layout makes this very interesting.
Good job, I'd love to see more of this.

Thank you :)
It didnt turn out exactly the way I wanted it to, but that was mainly because the goblin raids started so soon that I had no choice but to wall myself in!

Actually, I just noticed that the piramids look more like aztec temples then that they look like piramids.
I could add ramps to the walls to make them more like real piramids, but this would also make them potential roads.. so I think I'll just keep them like this.

That's a very neat looking layout. I like it.

I'm suprised no one has pointed this out yet but you spelled some stuff wrong...
Pyramid not Piramid
Pharoah not Pharoa

You can download the compressed map file: 2009-05/p-luke-Whitesands-region1-206-38331.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
