Chancebolts - 122 Early Spring by kenken244

Map Description:

As expected nothing much got done for the two-year lapse in updates. I did finish the statue garden area, and made some other internal improvements, but not much in the way of new structures. I now have an ample supply of blocks, and construction will resume full force next year.

Point of Interest: The Spire Statue

The statue atop the spire is made of platinum, decorated by legendary dwarves with every precious metal and gem I could get my hands on. The dwarves had been training their skills for several years now, and just recently did they reach legendary. The statue is appraised at 52,000 dwarfbucks, more than any artifact created during the last 22 years. - kenken244

Wow. Nice fort.

I'd love to see Visual Fortress screenies of some of that fort

This place is awesome. I want to say epic, but you know, the word is a still a tad overused.

Unfortunatley, my save file for this map got corrupted, and I did not make any backups, so I will not be able to continue this fort.

You can download the compressed map file: 2009-10/kenken244-Chancebolts-region1-122-48.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
