Inkyships - 212 Late Autumn by burnedfx

Map Description:

A pirate town, built in a cove located in the Bejeweled Swamps.

The infamous Bone Carver, Tashemablel part of the crew to the Inkyships, once lived here.

Some say you can find him in taverns on the coasts of the Euphoric Waters, mumbling about what became of the crew and its treasure, but only if you buy him some rum.

This map record is from a time before the tale.

Δ 193. Skull Rock
The skull is constantly swallowing the ocean.

This entrance and the entire underground complex was inspired by the disney pirates ride and goonies. - burnedfx

Δ 20. Skull Dagger Tavern
Two story tavern, located near the south docks for easy access to pirates returning from any plundering. - burnedfx

All of the housing and most of the buildings are built one level up, for when the tide changes, they don't have to worry about any flooding. - burnedfx
Δ 19. Ship Deck and Sea Dogs
The Sea Dogs are trained to attack any fool that attempts to jump onto the ship while on the open waters. - burnedfx
Δ 18. An Elf's Nightmare
The wood from the swamps is harvested every Autumn.
As you can see, these dwarf pirates have plenty of stockpiles "just in case". - burnedfx
Δ 17. Cinnabar Mine
The old cinnabar mine has since been abandoned.
Although, some say there is back door to the underground caves through here. . .
Of course, Tashemablel laughs at that idea. He is no fool. - burnedfx
Δ 17. The Captain's Caves
The beginning of the underground caves, as mentioned in a previous poi, was inspired by the pirates ride at disneyland. - burnedfx
Δ 15. Mermaids
The bone carver craved after these mermaids, but with no help from the others, he eventually sought other ideas to amass wealth. - burnedfx
Δ 15. Underground Cavern
The layout was inspired by the Goonies movie, although the ship is more dwarven like, in that it is built to traverse the underground using a steam engine, to collect gems.

The ship itself houses two living quarters, both assigned to the gem cutters of the Inkyships. They also have eating quarters on board.

This cavern is also where all the artifacts, gems and treasure of the pirates is kept.

The above cliff face, above the Jeweler's workshop on the west side is storage for all the goods made by craftsdwarves, for trading purposes. - burnedfx
