YAY! Apparently I did something right when I abandoned that made it register properly and move forward by a short time instead of a whole year.
Well, I made very little progress, but then again, I was reclaiming again. It's nice to know barely anything moved (outside the armor, clothes, and barrels/bins/bags/seeds.
Like the report said, Farm is the main focus for this season, and the next. Working on the ship will be minimal concern untill we have an absolutely steady supply and income of food. Bins/barrels are constant WIP to make sure everything has been stored one way or another. And to keep up with booze requests, I have 3 stills in fort now constantly churning out booze. I'm actually gaining profit from it (example: 15 food cost for making booze - 20 or 30 plants incoming = 5-15 profit. I'm actually making tons of food like mad for once.
Add to it, I made sure to give myself 2 breeding pairs of cattle in order to get tons of veal fast. I'll save a breeding pair per every time I process the livestock to ensure ever-increasing meat supply.
Oh, and I have more than enough materials to make some serious progress in the future. Wood gathering is now a top priority now that most of the current supply has been consumed. That ought to give me tie to clean up the ship of it's locked items (stray copper bar, some logs that can't be used. Simple move/reuse. Just de-/re-construct the spaces used. Simple fix, and quick cleanup.
We should be able to continue working on the ship again, and this time finish the bridge.
Thanks to the nearby stockpile, this task is a cinch now, as should be the rest of the ship. Provided it's done quick enough, the next update should have the engines taking form at least. And the update after that, the infrastructure along with the upper portions of the boilers. - Itnetlolor
