In eleven years, the population of the vault grew to more than 60...
...and was then abruptly halved.
The planter Obok went insane after a failed mood, flying into a berserk rage. Ultra-mighty, perfectly agile and superdwarvenly tough from his legendary social skills, he brutally murdered more than 30 dwarves before a hastily organized militia brought him down.
Scholarbridged soldiers on.
Too numerous for the catacombs to accommodate, the bodies of the dead rot on the floor of the chamber.
The "@" symbol to the lower left is Obok, his face still frozen in an expression of utter rage. - RavingManiac

Remember that berserking dwarves can destroy the doors and bridges that are separating you from the rest of the world. You might want to consider constructed walls.

At what age do they become adults, and how do you plan to prevent inbreeding?

And here I thought Asmel would be the one to go insane.

Asmel actually got a happy ending - he married one of his friend's daughters and had three children with her before dying of old age.
At this point(year 15, about 12 years after the fort started), the vault population is already into its 4th or 5th generation. The dwarves of the first 2 generations have all died out.
