Map Description:

We have had a wave of immigrants, the population is now sitting around 40. We have lost many on the way into the fort as they ran from the werewolves.

Point of Interest: Main Entrance

There will be four entrances into the fort, one in each direction and identical to the next. Red block bridge, black stone entrance and white halls inside. The traps will be scaled down and a row of serrated discs will replace it along with a few guard dogs and a constant military patrol. - ScottH

Δ 34. Dead Immigrants
We have had a total of three immigrants die now as they ran for the entrance. We kept the soldiers at the bridge to stop the werewolves from getting in but had no way to help them on they're sprint to safety. - ScottH
Δ 33. Food!
We are now self sufficient, we no longer need to buy food from caravans. We get all the dwarven drinks and plants necessary from small farms below. We also have dog meat and meat brought in pet form by the immigrants, oh and not to mention the werewolves and other evil creature we kill. - ScottH
¶ 33. Main Entrance

Δ 33. Main Fortress
The fort is now a dug out in the sand. It is just temporary as we begin to make stone blocks and the mason build the walls and floors, soon we will build up. - ScottH
Δ 32. Block Production and Excavating.
We are clearing away the rock and turning it into blocks. Below the fortress will be air and the fort will be held up by a column of rock. You can also see our small farms which actually support the fortress quite well. - ScottH
Δ 28. Lots of blood
We broke into the underground caverns in hopes to collect cave spider silk, instead Draltha ran up into the fort, luckily the miner found them before they gained entrance. The military made short work of them. Needless to say the hall is now full of stonefall traps. - ScottH
