It is a SporeMine from my Tyranid mod that hasn't been worked on(I need to change that).
but yea, that is exactly what it does. They are curious and aggressive little bugger(like actual SporeMines from WH40K) that explode on death, and takes what ever lifeforms with it.
A drawback of this is that traders sometimes carry the explosive material. This resulting in a very messy Trade depot once it goes off.

@Fire Imp: just set your pressure plates to 'resets' by pressing 'o' to switch it from 'one use' to 'resets'. It is good to have multiple pressure plates per bridge for faster retracting and resetting.

Nice creature, I like the blood color. How do you get your bridges to come back after they have been retracted?
