Viperarches - 455 Early Winter by HSZeg

Map Description:

My (unfinished) Glass Tower megaproject.

I wanted to do something really big and this certainly was. Infact, probably too big. I lost interest eventually, but I still managed to make a fairly big tower in 10 years.

Constucted of somewhere around 12000 green glass blocks.

Point of Interest: 1st Floor

Barracks, Archery range and Marksdwarf overlook.

Also, the refuse dump on top of the rear extension, with stairs up behind the butchers shops above. - HSZeg

The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.

There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check the Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is outside the bounds of the DataView. Feel free to report a problem with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

Nice fortress! Would be awesome if you could finish it...

maybe use [SPEED:1] to get your dwarves to finish it faster?

That's quite an impressive megaproject.
At least finish the viper-arch, it speaks of unsurpassed coolness.
Also green glass eyes :3

You can download the compressed map file: 2009-04/hszeg-Viperarches.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
