My first serious map in the new version of DF. I'm going for the Moria look and building large cavernous halls to serve as the heart of the fortress. Since it'll be a long while before its finished a small proto-fort as been built in the upper levels.
A human Baroness and Princess have both died in my fort so I expect a siege next summer.
I don't want to dig through the great hall area since I want as much of it as possible to be carved straight out of the rock instead of constructed. This serves as a main source of ores and will be where I comb the lowest levels of the map for anthing interesting. Currently on hold while I try to complete a section of the great hall, as cramming all the dwarves and their associated crap in the proto-fort area is getting difficult. - Yak_Fighter

You can download the compressed map file:

to convert to the .PNG image format.

I'd like to note that if you're going for the Dwarrowdelf look, the columns should be much thicker.
