Chancebolts - 117 Early Winter by kenken244

Map Description:

I finally decided that I should upload this map to the DFMA. This is a fortress made of obsidian blocks, suspended over a major river with an 11 z-level waterfall. I have just finished moving most things from my temporary fortress into the fortress on the river.

Point of Interest: The Bridge

( 117 Early Winter → onwards )

This is the bridge across the major river. It will mainly serve for storage, recreation, and noble housing once it is finished. From here you can see the mosaic-thing on the surface of the bridge, made from electrum, platinum, rose gold, and black bronze. The lower part does not connect because I have still not figured out how I want to connect it. - kenken244

Wow. Nice fort.

I'd love to see Visual Fortress screenies of some of that fort

This place is awesome. I want to say epic, but you know, the word is a still a tad overused.

Unfortunatley, my save file for this map got corrupted, and I did not make any backups, so I will not be able to continue this fort.

Problems?

Do you only see a blank space?

Don't have Flash?
You can download the compressed map file: 2009-10/kenken244-Chancebolts-region1-117-30244.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
