Vanishtorches - 203 Late Summer by Zruku

Map Description:

This is a fort on a terrifying tundra with a shrub land tile. Oddly enough trees started growing on the tundra after awhile and a TON of shrubs on the tundra. I'm working on a half pyramid style moat which I will fill with magma, it will eventually look like this;

Point of Interest: Future Arena

This will be the site of the future arena, I dug out from above, then collapsed the floor. I tried to clear out the stones by dumping them, but holy carp did that slow all progress down in the fort. - Zruku

Δ 15. Bridge to hell
This is where all stone go to die, I originally wanted all the stones to sit on the bridge, then pull the lever and let 200 tons of stone drop into the magma pipe. But all my dwarves just decided to throw them off, that works, I guess. - Zruku
Δ 15. Elk Trap
I put some cage traps here to catch all the damn elk that kept scaring my dwarves, you'll see quite a few corpses to the right on the edge of the map. - Zruku
Δ 14. Farming Area
This is where I farm, the floor above the farms to the right was me realizing I had no above ground plants to plant, so they're pretty much wasted. The stockpile to the left is where all the seeds go for easy access for my dwarves, and so they don't flood the food stockpiles. - Zruku
Δ 13. Odd bed
The reason the bed is here is that a dwarf became injuried thanks to a stupid fire imp and he needed a bed. Took 2 season for him to get over the injury THEN 1 season to get over the exhaustion it took to make a carpenters workshop and to dig out a room with 1 miner. - Zruku
Δ 13. Stockpile Room
Just a simple stockpile room. - Zruku
Δ 10. Burial Area
This is going to be like a pyramid because it's space effective and looks nice. The lower you are the more important I consider you, bottom area is nobles tomb. - Zruku
Δ 10. Dining Room
This is the dining room (of course) I'm waiting for all my engravers to get legendary so I can get a legendary dining room. - Zruku

I have no idea what to put in here, but I am putting wells to the right. - Zruku
Δ 9. Bedroom Area
It houses 49 dwarves in one floor, once I get enough wood I'll complete them all with a chest and cabinet (I would use my mason but he isn't as skilled). - Zruku
Δ 3. Mining Area
So many tiles I still have YET to run into any god damn gems, only shitty alunite - Zruku
