Making progress. The bridge is still a bit gnarly and had to get it's retraction removed at the moment (stupid stone in the way). So no progress on the ship itself.
Good news however, it seems I remedied the suicidal pathfinding of last time, and forced the pathing via walls and a more persistent, and tighter priority path. It worked.
I'm adding more security while I can with the walls, and possibly sealing the batcave. I did notice an assload of creatures within the chasm area, which was also the source of the GCS (Giant Cave Swallow). Quite a few of those.
I have a small party of "hunters" to extract the cave of batmen so that I can seal it with walls and traps (for future use), or just vacuum seal it.
This will handle the back door with really beefy securty; the major concern being ambush and sieges.
Of course, blueprints go, wagon-width bridge, and a vicious gauntlet when the bridge is up.
Expansions to the supply-way will be made to function alongside the customs point, but will be made when customs is finished. Until them, merchants will have to take the long way.
Difference with the back door is that it'll be triple bridged to make sure there will not be any incursion by the enemy. A thin walkway will provide the "shortcut" for the enemy so they'll be suckered into the trap gauntlet. It'll also provide a path for wild-tree farming. Danger is imminent, so the custo,ms shall be made ASAP as well before risk. - Itnetlolor
