Progress progress progress.
Deck III is getting close to completion. Chenjesu has been installed, pilot's controls are installed. Rear engines are mounted, V-engine blocks are 50% done, and more machinery has been installed, minimizing the work in the future.
As for the imp issue. That's currently WIP. Most of the corpses have been collected, and the way to/from it has been removed. Of course, the guy removing access locked himself in. Fortunately it was a constructed wall that held him back. Easy replace.
It's a slow progress, but we should hopefully have our threats minimized by the end of next season; provided we make an inverse-funnel wall over the magma. All that would be left to worry about would be invaders. But they should be a cinch after what we've been through.
I was thinking of at least building an elevated platform to place the tomb on top of.
On it will be another logo. Still thinking up ideas. Maybe something relating to the original embark party (The Oily Keys), so why not a key?
Oh, and to explain the traps, I was extracting corpses from the pit while working on the cap. They were there just in case an imp decided to chase after a dwarf.
Just below, I'm converting the wall that was built into a floodgate, just in case. It'll be rigged with some cage traps in case I feel like snagging some imps for defense.
I hope I can eventually capture some, use my DM to train them, and use them for launching fireballs at others. >:) - Itnetlolor
