• ¶ 144. Desert's Keep

  ( 552 to onwards )
  The primary surface structure protecting the actual fortress. It consists of archery ranges, trade depots, surface storage facilities, windmill farm, surface production, and surface control, centre. Four dwarves are constantly assigned to inhabit the control level of Desert's Keep. - Serio

• Δ 143. Inactive Power Distribution Network

  ( 555 to 559 Mid Autumn )
  This area was supposed to control the distribution of power to the fortress. When the water reactors were constructed, this place fell into disuse and has been turned off. Depending on the success of the water reactors, the windmills may be put into use again. - Serio

• Δ 137. Abandoned Project

  ( 558 Early Summer to 559 Early Winter )
  This was supposed to be a alternate design for a mist generator. The resources it used, however, far outweighed the uses it had. It has been sealed until a better use for the area can be found, or the resources can be recovered somehow. - Serio

  ( 554 to onwards )
  Yet another item to remind the dwarves of the hard work they've done. - Serio

• Δ 137. Ittásniten, the Artefact Cabinet

  ( 561 Early Summer to onwards )
  This object was removed from the (no longer functional) noble quarters to here. - Serio

• Δ 137. Lord Marshall's Office

  ( 557 to onwards )
  This is where the Lord Marshall's guard, two squads of ten dwarves each, and the Lord Marshall stay while on duty. Recent events mean that the squads have been dismissed for the time being, though some of the recruits still hang around the barracks. - Serio

• Δ 137. Noble Quarters

  ( 559 Late Summer to 560 Early Summer )
  The noble quarters have, like other parts of the fortress, fallen into disuse now. This will change in the future when more nobles begin migrating to the fortress again, or when the fortress is renovated. - Serio

• Δ 137. Water Reactors

  ( 558 Early Summer to onwards )
  These water reactors were constructed to replace the windmill farm, but due to the severe FPS issues involved with using them, they're not currently used. - Serio
