Kilrudmokez 'Bronzecage' - 1089 Early Spring by Peter Horner

Map Description:

Massive 6x3 Fortress, 50 years old, 1,5 RL years work, many sights and megaprojects

Point of Interest: Megaproject 3: Water infrastructure

Again running all around the central void, 4 levels below the Main Concourse you can see the water distribution suystem (or 'ring'). It is fed from the brook, can be drained via pumpstacks back into the brook and - of course - flood the central void in times of need. From this central ring all necessary water can be drawn. Each Dining 'Tongue' has its own well which draws its water (via flooding chambers) from the ring. The watersystem also floods the food plots - and the outer shell of the Gemstorage.

To the right of the PoI marker you can see the massive colums which support the water aqueduct (its shadow can be seen as well) - TanSerrai

I did a quick count up, and I suspect this was the 10,000th map uploaded to this website. Congrats!

You can download the compressed map file: 2011-12/peterhorner-Bronzecage-region1-1089-2123.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
