Kilrudmokez 'Bronzecage' - 1089 Early Spring by Peter Horner

Map Description:

Massive 6x3 Fortress, 50 years old, 1,5 RL years work, many sights and megaprojects

Point of Interest: The Main Entrance - 'The Maw'

The Main Entrance into the Kilrudmokez. Outside the outer drawbride three roads come together, each cut into the cliffs, descending comfortable to the entrance level. Traders then pass through a double row of golden statues, then across the moat on a golden drawbridge flanked by two towers. Once past the towers there is an inner drawbridge and a long gallery, floored in gold, flanked by niches in which dead enemies are bound to the walls. At the end of the gallery the road descends a few levels towards the inner main concourse. Across that descent a tripple siege engine awaits enemies charging down the gallery. This setup even worked but once my military got good I did not bother anymore. Due to the graphics blinking you cannot see that the floor of the gallery, the drawbridge and everything outside are practically covered in skeletons. This entrance is left open at all times, once a caravan or siege comes one of my two squads is put on duty inside the outer drawbridge. One squad can destroy a full siege without breaking a sweat by now...once that is over the blood drains into the moat and a horde of haulers strips the goblins and trolls of their gear, throws it into the magmamoat but leaves the skeletons. Sometimes those lie three deep, only to be crushed by the (imagined) wagons of the traders. Their mules have to push through the piles of ribs to gain entrance. - TanSerrai

I did a quick count up, and I suspect this was the 10,000th map uploaded to this website. Congrats!
