• Δ 96. Entrance bridge
  Invaders making it past the Fireshowers step onto this bridge. It has 2 turrets, which can be sealed off by raising bridges, to be loaded, even while under siege, with GCS, fire imps, or whatever you can catch that shoots stuff.
  The bridge can be retracted at the pull of a lever, for a painful drop. From the north, invaders will be shot at by 5 ballistas, and the archer tower above, while they struggle in the webs. - martinuzz
• Δ 95. Aboveground industry
  A few farms, bees, Llamas, Reindeer, Donkeys. A lone stray Giant Ostrich (I wonder just how big it's eggs are, I've seen RL normal ostrich eggs). Not much of interest here. I really do need to do some mass slaughtering, they're eating too much. To the east, my fort's single power generator, good for 3000 UW. As you can see, no entrances on this side of the river. All sieges entering the north side of the map are forced over the 2 bridges, in range of the archer tower. - martinuzz
• ¶ 95. Entrance
  The forts only entrance is a combination of a magma cannon, and a webbed-over deathfall trap. Currently, it's in safe mode. Caravans can enter from the east or west side. When I flip some levers, those entrances are sealed by a raising (magmaproof) bridge, and the south bridge is lowered to force anyone coming in past the magma cannon (Fireshowers), onto the entrance bridge - martinuzz
• Δ 94. Trade depot
  On this level you can fnd the fort's trade depot, sheep herd, goat herd and cheesemaking / spinning workshops.
  In the small room on the right, I'm trying to breed my first batch of crundles. Soon, my dwarves shall have meaty crundle roasts. - martinuzz
• Δ 93. Basic food industry
  Farming, brewing, processing and milling are all done on this level. - martinuzz
• Δ 92. Silk and tree farms
  When my GCS isn't needed at the front, it's put to work in the silk farm. Weavers, dyers, clothiers and a cloth craft workshop are all nearby.
  This level also has the most tree farm cells. I'm growing more trees already than the elves allow me to cut. Perhaps it's time to invite them to a siege. - martinuzz
• Δ 91. Production and jails
  Kitchens, butchers, tanner, fishies. It can all be found here. As well as the gem setting and bone crafting industries. 8 out of the 12 prison cells are located here as well. I did some !!SCIENCE!! and tried to get prisoners to operate screw pumps. Unfortunatly, it did not work. The forts very important mist generator is built here as well. Every dwarf has to pass under it when going from this level further down, it's the only passage down with no alternative stairs. This mist generator saved my fort from tantrum spiral death when I transferred my save to the update that fixed clothing.
  The western water reservoir has clear water. It's pump usually is manned permanently, I forgot to turn it back on after freeing up a pump operator to fill the dwarfwash to the right. - martinuzz
• Δ 90. Barracks
  Here my Subjects are training. That is, those subjects that survived their subject initiation as medical training dummies. When they're not training they're operating pumps. To the east lies the entrance to the arena. - martinuzz
• Δ 90. Palace
  When the King arrives, he must be pleased to find his lodgings well-prepared. I've even thought of the carpets, made out of some masterfully woven GCS silk ropes.
  The King's throne room to the north holds the lever that grants access to magma cannon calibration controls. The Dining room to the south of that holds the levers to pressurize, and fire the magma cannon. - martinuzz
• Δ 90. Palace level
  The northern part of this level holds the rooms for the King that will hopefully arrive shortly (I just passed 80 dwarves population). Then there's a few legendary dining rooms, a hospital, some commoners bedrooms, and the Mayor's and Captain of the Guard's quarters.
  Two floors above the water reservoir is a wishing well. I threw in a few (five-hundreds of) silver coins in it. Sometimes water flow moves the coins around, which is pretty cool. To the east, the barracks. - martinuzz
• Δ 89. Magma and stone
  On this level you can find the fort's magma forges, as well as the stone industries. The Duke has his quarters here as well. - martinuzz
• Δ 88. Magma engineering
  Behind lever-locked magma proof doors, this level holds the levers that operate all of the magma floodgates. They can be used to switch the magma cannon between single round, burst (adjustable charge), and autofire (fully pressurized) mode, as well as allowing future magma projects to make use of pre-installed side-branch floodgates. And then there's the lever of doom, sealed behind walls.
  The Duke's children also have their rooms here, comfortably close to the lever of doom's floodgates+fortifications. - martinuzz
• Δ 87. Catacombs
  My fort didn't see many deaths yet, so they're only spanning 3 z-levels so far. - martinuzz
• Δ 82. First cave
  I genned a world with only 2 cavern layers, to save FPS. This is the first cave.
  You can see an artefact cabinet, with retracting bridges that lure buildingdestroyers, and drop them 1 z-level onto cage traps. It's lever operated, but not by the lever on this level. It's lever is near the fort's meeting area, for quick access.
  A single turret is built into the wall, in case you need to web over the cage traps. - martinuzz
• Δ 73. Second cave
  The second, and final cave entrance is here. I still need to complete the turret, to be able to web over the traps. - martinuzz
• Δ 53. Magma intake
  It took me 2 RL weeks to build the magma pumpstack, at 14-15 FPS. But it was worth it. Those double pumps give awesome magma pressure, and while filling up, barely drained FPS. - martinuzz
