• Δ 178. SLS (Sequental Launch System) starting points
  Sequental Launch System starting points. Each hatch is a starting point of the hauling route, named Lane 1 through 16, left to right. Levers could be used to manually open specific hatch, although following ones will be opened by pressure plates located on SLS control level when minecart passes the triggers - serge_levin
• Δ 177. SLS (Sequental Launch System) triggers
  SLS - Sequental Launch System. Used to launch several minecarts one by one. Magma Express has 16 hauling routes assign, each contains of the only starting point one level above impulse ramps, on the hatch. Blue lever opens leftmost hatch, subsequent ones are opened by pressure plates - Lane 1 plate opens hatch on Lane 2, Lane 2 opens Lane 3 and so on. Lane 16 has nothing to open. - serge_levin
• ¶ 174. Main hall
  Main hall is surrounded with food production facilities, stockpiles and fortress control rooms.
  
  Righthand room has 4 levers connected to bridges sealing caissons in magma reservoir.
  Lefthand room has several groups of levers controlling different equipment -
  Top-left group of 4 controls drawbridges sealing the entrance. As far as fortress is under the siege, passage between trade depot and main staircase is sealed.
  Bottom-left group of 7 controls upper and lower water supply.
  Group of 3 levers on the right are used to control power distribution system - cart rollers, magma pump and magma drainage bridge can be controlled independantly.
  Bottom-right group of 2 controls either edge of main water reservoir located on the left-hand side of this map level. - serge_levin
• Δ 173. Magma reservoir
  Magma reservoir with feeding channel to supply furnaces, smelters, etc. Left-hand side caissons are constructed in order to attach firther magma based system (Fried Goblins Grill, obsidian casting facility, nobles rest-in-peace saunas) without need to drain the whole reservoir. Upper level has a trigger, disconnecting magma pump on the magma loading chamber. It is set to trigger on 5/7 of magma. - serge_levin
• Δ 171. Bedrooms
  Semi-equidistant rooms layout. Requires some work to designate, but looks cool! That ugly-looking quarter near the main staircase is for mayor. He is sharing bedroom, office and dining room within one room. That's because I do not like mayors. - serge_levin
• Δ 170. Water supply
  Water supply to provide magma-level machinery with power. Reservoirs with raising bridges seal were built in order to avoid water evaporation. - serge_levin
• Δ 16. Water supply
  Water is moved from outer part of the system to inner part. With additional pressure reduction (it is falled 153 z-levels down from water supply reservoirs - serge_levin
• Δ 12. Power distribution system
  System of gears and axles is used to provide power to pump and rollers. Rightmost and center gear in group of 3 adjusted are connected one to lever, other to overflow prevention trigger in reservoir. If pressure plate detects dangerous magma level in reservoir, pump is disconnected and the only way to continue filling reservoir is manually operating the pump. Done as pre-caution measures to aviod fortress flooding with magma. - serge_levin
• Δ 11. Temporary metal factory
  Group of 4 magma furnaces and 2 magma forges is built to supply fortress with metal goods while Magma Express is being built. It is built directly over the magma sea, each building has open space under its impassable tile. Small stockpiles for ore, bars, food and booze are located to minimize dwarves trip time for all the required reagents. - serge_levin
• Δ 11. Water supply
  Water channel for feeding the machinery with power. Uses bug with water flowing off the map marks all the linked tiles as flowing water, even if chamber is sealed later. Another pressure reduction to avoid forming of obsidian over the rollers. Water tube has input and output locks and bypass lock. - serge_levin
