Wavechained the Desert Waterpalace - 1061 Early Summer by Unbeltedsundew

Map Description:

I was going to wait until I had the first half of the plumbing fully operational before I uploaded this. Nothing is on and my sewers are still empty. I kind of feel like letting the seiging goblins and fires rage out of control and coming back to it after a break. My only concern is that the levers still work after reclaiming the fortress...

As you may be able to tell by the fires rageing in my food stores (most of thats drinks not food) and the goblins outside things all the sudden just went wrong. Stupid merchents wouldnt give me food after I tried to trick them into buying stolen goods, it's all their fault.

Point of Interest: Food production, storage and dining room

pretty much as it says, except that I had to build the seige workshop in the dining room because at the time that was the only place that had room for it. Im going to move it when I reorganize the workshops and start wroking on the z-level above. The little raised dias in the center of the dinning room was going to have private rooms branching off, haven't gotten around to it though. - Unbeltedsundew

I like your color scheme. Can you post it?

Its the "Natural" colour scheme from the dwarf wiki ( http://dwarf.lendemaindeveille.com/index.php/Color_schemes ) except I changed the yellow to: [YELLOW_R:255]
[YELLOW_G:225]
[YELLOW_B:50]

Hurray Lavafall! Do you also have an incinerator?

I really envy the fun you've had with magma, water, fire, and underground trees. Looks like you had a great time for a good long time with this particular fort!

The entrance way a lone is worthy of considerable merit, but overall you've created a well structured and spaced fortress of charming detail and planning. Me likes.

Thanks for the comments, they've given me motivation to actually complete this place. Un fortunately after the fires and goby's killed all my dwarves but one (the fires killed all the goblins too) I survived but not long enough to get immigrants and my last dwarf was ambushed in the tunnels leading to Moria's Folley as he tried to retake the door.

Anyways I'll build a different fortress and reclaim this one later. Cheers.
