Map Description:

Rapehumor, a nice little fortress I had going. It was a closed community fortress, which is to say, a community fortress that only the #bay12games members participated in. I quite like the little hills that sometimes pop up. It gives fortresses a nice "Lonely Mountain" feeling.

Point of Interest: Markavian's Mausoleum

Markavian's Mausoleum, because he made me.

Also because he killed 11 dwarves in his military career while sparring. That's got to count for something. - RPharazon

Δ 15. Cross Defence
I made this nice little cross-shaped defense system. I also smoothed out all the tiles that I could. Surprisingly efficient. - RPharazon

I love these little features. They make nice entrances and give the fortress a nice mountain feel. - RPharazon

The barrel storage room for the food industry. I have a lot of stockpiles, don't I? - RPharazon

The big 3x3 rooms are for the starters, the big enormous room is for me, along with an office and dining room. One floor below are additional rooms and the housing complex. - RPharazon
Δ 14. Dwarven Storage Areas
I made this big mess of cabinets and chests so that the dwarves don't have to carry so many things. Even two chests and two cabinets are often not enough for dwarves and they happily use these types of rooms as lockers. - RPharazon
¶ 14. Main Hall and Dining Room
The main hall/dining room. Engraved with a platinum statue and several masterwork tables and thrones. You can see Markavian as the little teal dwarf on the bottom left. - RPharazon
Δ 14. The Farm
This enormous farm harvests sweet pods and plump helmets that get brewed, and then the drinks get cooked. That's how I got 55,000 units of food in only 3 years. The "Outside" farm harvest longland grass and strawberries for delicious-sounding Longland Beer and Strawberry Wine. - RPharazon
Δ 13. Farmworks
The fishery, farmer's workshop, still, kitchen, and another still are in line from top to bottom. - RPharazon
Δ 13. Food Stockpile
The food stockpile which is enormous and stretches down 3 z-levels. At moment of writing, it contains 55,000 food units. - RPharazon
Δ 13. Water Tank
This water tank supplies the well above, and is connected to the moat system operated by floodgates and the lever above. It's nice and symmetrical. - RPharazon
Δ 13. Workshop Area
This workshop area has everything you ever need, conveniently located next to the refuse, and below the bar/block stockpile. - RPharazon

Δ 5. Graveyard Complex
The graveyard complex. 6 big tombs and one grand tomb for the 7 starting dwarves, with several coffins at the top. I realize now that it sort of looks like a penis. - RPharazon
