After a year of work, a caravan, and two waves of immigrants, the fortress is beginning to look like a fortress. Except for that raging wildfire.
Luckily, we set up this gate as one of the first projects in the fortress. When the wildfire started, we decided it would be best to just bottle up and wait it out. - Bluerobin427

Huh.. what are those pot-shaped green things on the ground?

Anthills maybe?
Hopefully none of your dwarves were locked out when the fires hit. That'd be a shame.

The pots are highwood trees... I don't remember what anthills look like in this tileset. I'm pretty sure all of my dwarves got inside before I locked the door and I haven't been getting any "Urist McDwarf burned to death!" messages, so they seem to be ok.
