End of 1st/Beginning of 2nd year of this new fortress. Just began to carve out the main fortress, after finishing the underwater tunnel. Very interesting map to play on, though there's no magma to speak, and not that many trees, so hopefully there will be other things to interest me.
Just some friendly dog-killing horses hanging out by my puppy cage. I have no military yet, so I'm worried about pissing them off. - Salmeuk

I'm interested on how awesome this fort will turn out. Any plans to build the dwarven "Golden Gate" to cross the ocean?

I might add a bridge later on, with the nobles situated in the middle. The tunnel works out nicely for now, though the whole fortress is quite inefficient.
