Too bad the last video of the series got screwed up by the shift-lock bug. It starts with me activating 5 or 6 dwarves standing near one of the downed SoFs (purposely ignoring Asob, who also happened to be nearby) and watching them run into the thing and disappear into clouds of smoke... and then the screen starts having seizures because of that dang bug.
"New" combat system doesn't cut it. This is 40d. You're probably right about falling into the chasm, though the goblin bones right next to where the path turns is throwing me off.

The fluffy wamblers are still alive!! If I had a workable schedule I'd take another turn right now.
It's hard to tell, but the FPS stays at 17 both before and after crushing.
Also, I'm depressed at a) how fast this movie plays compared to how long it took to record this, and b) how much time is actually spent in the video flipping through pages of stone. This will take a while...
Glad to see this trap put to "good use!"
Ingenious trap you have here! Except for the dog who casually strolls right through the spikes as they're raising and doesn't get hurt XD
I love it... the last three speargobs could only hear the screams of their allies beyond the wall, and could do nothing but flee in terror. Awesome design!
It's not nearly as shiny as I'd hoped... but it is deadlier!
I gave up on the philosopher. Now it's a pending plot hook. Notice Zon hasn't said anything about it yet ;)
They very narrowly dodged becoming giant eagle bait, actually. They spawned just a few tiles away from it, but for some reason it left them alone, actually flying the opposite direction!

::shrug:: I guess I didn't need this space after all!
